Municipal Partners

Creating quality affordable housing with cities and counties

Jamboree and City of El Monte The Exchange at Gateway workforce housing ground breaking

One of Jamboree’s top priorities continues to be advancing our partnerships with local governments in cities, municipalities, and associated agencies and entities. Their commitment to appropriating funds, expediting permit processes, waiving fees, or donating land and grants – along with Jamboree serving as an extension of city or county staff and elected officials – creates a solid and mutually beneficial collaboration.

Together, we meet various economic development goals to provide affordable housing and revitalize neighborhoods as well as better utilize available financing tools. This includes the complex financial structures that are often required to bring affordable housing projects to fruition. Like us, our municipal partners believe long-term solutions to the housing crisis require aggressive action on the part of the nonprofit community, public-sector agencies as well as private companies.
