Rose Crest is a garden-style family affordable apartment community. Renovated in 1996, the community features laundry facilities for resident convenience. Landscaped outdoor spaces and a pool encourage residents to spend time outdoors and offer children places to play. Rose Crest is located with easy access to SR 22, the Garden Grove Freeway, and is walking distance to dining, shopping, a medical center and local schools in Orange County.
Additionally, residents at Rose Crest – as well as Jamboree’s nearby Briar Crest, Grove Park and Sunswept – are active participants at the neighborhood’s award-winning Buena Clinton Youth & Family Center. Programs and services include a parent advisory committee, parent volunteers, parent education classes and activities that engage active seniors in the community. A strong safety component includes neighborhood outreach meetings with local Garden Grove police, car seat safety, identify theft protection, renter's rights and much more.
Jamboree has shown a long-term commitment to the refurbishment and maintenance of this property, most recently with another extensive renovation in 2016. All unit kitchens and bathrooms are fitted with new plumbing fixtures, appliances and new cabinets, as well as countertops and lighting. The pool, BBQ area and tot lot are refurbished and both green and accessibility upgrades to common areas provide easy access for all residents.
Along with the City of Garden Grove and other key partners, Jamboree is dedicated to keeping the community a safe, affordable neighborhood for residents and their families. The early renovation of Rose Crest, together with others on the street, has resulted in an overall revitalization of the entire neighborhood.
Rose Crest is a garden-style family affordable apartment community. In 1996, in partnership with the City of Garden Grove and St. Joseph Health System, Jamboree acquired and renovated the community, which was in serious disrepair. The buildings had more than 200 code violations and required extensive refurbishing to interior units and exterior landscaping, siding and roofing.
During the multi-year, phased renovation, no residents were relocated. The renovations of these buildings, along with others on the street, have resulted in an overall revitalization of this Orange County neighborhood.

All kitchens and bathrooms are completely refurbished with new cabinets, countertops, appliances, lighting and plumbing fixtures. Exterior renovations include new water-efficient landscaping, solar panels, sustainability and accessibility upgrades throughout common areas, and ADA compliance to the tot lot.
The partnership with NeighborWorks Orange County demonstrates the way that Jamboree’s unique and sustaining partnerships with local government, investors and property management result in safe, secure, long-term quality housing for residents.
