In 1998, Jamboree acquired The Meadows in Irvine, CA, an affordable mobile home park for seniors 55+ that covers 40 acres. The landscaped community includes covered parking and laundry facilities for residents. Jamboree’s Community Impact Group provides onsite programs and services designed for seniors. Many residents volunteer in the surrounding Orange County community, and are committed to a wide variety of hobbies. Located on Jeffrey Road between the I-5 and I-405 freeways, The Meadows is close to shopping, public transportation and community services.

As part of a long-term commitment to improving the lives of residents, in 2014 Jamboree partnered with Snyder Langston – which served as the general contractor for the project – to renovate the existing clubhouse. The renovation resulted in a spacious new community center with a large, fully accessible stage. A fitness center and heated pool open year-round encourage residents to maintain a healthy, active lifestyle.

All improvements adhere to California Title 24 building energy efficiency standards. The building also meets current ADA accessibility standards.

In 2011, Jamboree introduced Orange County’s first CalGreen-compliant ENERGY STAR efficient manufactured home at The Meadows. Built by Modular Lifestyles, this manufactured “green” home has a unique design and features ENERGY STAR solar, wind power, solar thermal water heating and a grey water drain system.
