Laura Archuleta, President
Laura's commitment to affordable housing spans nearly 20 years. She joined Jamboree in 1999 as an Assistant Director before assuming the responsibilities of President in 2001, and has held positions in the public sector – including the cities of Garden Grove, Anaheim, Cypress, and Palmdale – as an advocate for the development and preservation of affordable homes throughout California. Laura is an active member of the California Redevelopment Association. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice and a master’s degree in Public Administration from California State University, Fullerton.
Marcy V. Finamore, Executive Vice President/CFO
Prior to joining Jamboree in 2001 as Director of Finance, Marcy was Assistant Asset Manager and Financial Analyst for Western National Properties and served as Controller and Treasurer for Oak Springs, Inc., a real estate investment firm. She holds a bachelor's degree in Business Administration Accounting from California State University Fullerton and earned her Certified Public Accountant's license while working at the international CPA firm Ernst & Young.
Mary Jo Goelzer, Vice President of Marketing and Communications
With nearly 20 years at Newport Pacific Capital Company, a national real estate development firm, Mary Jo served as Vice President in several areas including marketing, public and private syndication, mortgage instrument programs, portfolio management, financing, and association management. She was also Director of Investor Services at American Diversified Corporation. Mary Jo joined Jamboree in 2001 and holds a bachelor’s degree in Communications from the University of Washington.
Welton Smith, Vice President of Development
Welton Smith joined Jamboree in 2014 from Palm Communities where he served as the Senior Vice President of Development. During his extensive career in real estate finance, Welton worked in both the private and public sectors, including tours at National Community Renaissance (CORE) and the Los Angeles County Community Development Commission. While at National CORE, Welton was directly responsible for the acquisition, development, construction ad/or rehabilitation of more than 49 projects with approximately 4,400 units in Southern California, Northern California and Texas.
George Searcy, Vice President of Community Impact
Prior to joining Jamboree in 2014, George served as both the Executive Director of Hope Through Housing Foundation and the Executive Vice President of Operation & Program Services at National Community Renaissance (CORE) in Rancho Cucamonga for the past nine years.Prior to his work at National CORE, George worked for many years at the City of Irvine as the Community Services Superintendent - Human and Social Services and for the Irvine Adult Day Health Services, Inc. as the Executive Director of Adult Day Health Care Services.
Karen Hammond, Human Resources Manager
Karen joined Jamboree in 2006 to manage the growing area of human resources. Prior to this role Karen was a HR Consultant, and headed up Human Resources for a software development Company, FieldCentrix, and a division of Deutsche Bank. Karen has her Bachelors degree in Liberal Studies from San Diego State University and her Human Resources Management Certificate from University of California, Irvine.
Michael Woodhart, President of Quality Development and Construction, Inc.
MichaelWoodhart joined Jamboree in 2014 as President of Quality Development and Construction. Michael’s 25 years of experience includes building nearly 2,500 units of market - rate andaffordable family and senior multifamily housing in Southern California. Prior to joining Jamboree, Michael was a senior project manager with Portrait Homes, Inc. and was vice president of construction at Lucas Companies. Michael graduated with a bachelor’s degree from California State University, Fullerton and an associate degree from Saddleback Community College.
Jose Sanchez, Vice President of Asset Management
Prior to joining Jamboree in 2015, Jose Sanchez served as the Chief Financial Officer at Eagle Real Estate Group where he was responsible for all aspects of corporate financial functions and the oversight of a $.5 billion property portfolio. Prior to his work at Eagle, Jose was the Director of Strategic Planning at The Irvine Company and a Portfolio Manager at Edison Capital. Jose graduated with a bachelor’s degree from Cal State Fullerton and has an executive MBA from Chapman University.
