WELL-KNOWN REAL ESTATE STRATEGIS RICHARD GOLLIS JOINS JAMBOREE HOUSING CORPORATION ADVISORY BOARD

IRVINE, CA (July 8, 2014) – Richard M. Gollis, a co-founder and principal of The Concord Group, has joined Jamboree Housing Corporation’s advisory board. The advisory board provides the affordable housing and community development firm with expert counsel and analysis on California’s residential industry, the economy, financial resources, entitlement, and partnerships.

Currently, the company has $233 million in affordable housing projects in its development pipeline and a $1 billion asset portfolio that includes the development of and/or ownership interest in more than 7,000 homes in more than 70 California communities.

“We are honored to have Richard join our advisory board,” said Laura Archuleta, Jamboree president. “This group of community leaders serves as a brain trust for our board of directors and our company management as we deal with the financial and other pressing issues of today to create strategic plans for our operations and project development tomorrow, Richard’s experience and expertise in real estate and associated industries will make a significant contribution to the depth and breadth of our advisory board’s insight and counsel.”

The Concord Group provides real estate advisory services to leading U.S. and international developers, home builders, financial institutions, and public agencies. With offices in Newport Beach, San Francisco and New York City, the firm is known for its thought leadership in guiding its clients through the challenging conditions of today’s real estate industry, while preparing them to capitalize on the changing market dynamics of the future.

The Concord Group’s clients also include private equity firms, institutional and entrepreneurial capital, investment providers and commercial banks. Its strategic solutions have inspired cities to revitalize economically distressed areas, developers to build affordable and senior housing units profitably, and financial institutions to invest in “green” construction that treads lightly on the environment. As a founding partner, Gollis has crafted and cultivated the firm’s unique approach over the past 20 years, integrating deep market knowledge with creative analytics.

“Jamboree is one of California’s leading developers of affordable and workforce housing and I look forward to working with Laura, her management team, and members of the board of directors and the advisory board as the company moves ahead with its development plans,” Gollis said. “There is a clear affordable housing crisis in California as costs escalate and the employment base grows. More than ever, there is a demand for the type of quality workforce housing that Jamboree develops.”
