Marcy Finamore’s growth and expansion mirror that of Jamboree. Hired as the Director of Finance with a staff of one, Marcy is CFO and now manages a staff of 30. Her respect, professionalism and balanced focus make her a strong leader, but her management skills are second only to her financial expertise. The impressive effect of Marcy’s work is best demonstrated in numbers. During her tenure, she’s helped to increase Jamboree’s operating budget from $830,000 to $8 million, overseeing 46 tax returns and 38 audits annually.

In Marcy’s executive position, she has created and managed sophisticated financial and accounting systems for the management of a $3.2+ billion portfolio of more than 93 properties. Despite the complexities of her job, she always focuses on Jamboree’s mission to provide high quality housing and services to the community.

“Some of my best memories with Jamboree include property grand openings and community heart warmings (resident welcome gatherings) where we have a chance to see what we built, how it affects our residents’ lives and how much resident services enrich their quality of life. The times when we see the joy and pride of our residents in their new homes are a constant motivator and a reminder that what we do matters. We’re making a positive difference in the world, even if our contribution to that impact is here in the office, doing behind-the-scenes work.”

In 2013, OC Metro selected Marcy as one of 20 Women to Watch for her professional and community contributions. In 2015, she was selected as a finalist for the Orange County Business Journal CFO of the Year.
