Jamboree acquired and rehabilitated St. Andrews, located in Los Angeles, CA, in a joint venture with Preservation Partners Development. Jamboree and Preservation Partners Development have partnered since 2000 to acquire, rehabilitate and preserve “at risk” affordable housing communities in areas with a high demand. St. Andrews is a garden-style affordable apartment community for seniors.

Apartments range from studios to one- or two-bedrooms with appliances in each apartment. The very walkable location is blocks from a healthcare center, shopping and dining. Public transit options such as a nearby rail line, seven bus lines and a car share help seniors stay independent and reduce or eliminate the need for private vehicles.

Preserving affordability and raising the quality of the community were the primary goals of the rehabilitation. Jamboree’s close partnerships with investors, local government and property management allow for this beautifully designed affordable senior housing in an area with increased demand and high real estate prices.
