Partnership renovates affordable housing in La Puente, CA 

La Puente Park – located in La Puente, CA – is a garden-style affordable apartment housing community for families. In 2002, Jamboree acquired and renovated La Puente Park in partnership with Preservation Partners Development, a company committed to permanently preserving “at-risk” affordable housing communities which were originally developed under U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) financing and direct rental subsidy programs. The Spanish-influenced architecture, mature trees, outdoor walkways and green spaces create an inviting environment. Onsite amenities such as laundry facilities and covered parking make life simpler and more convenient for residents.

La Puente Park is ideal for families – a gated entry provides a sense of security, a playground offers a place for children to play and Jamboree’s Community Impact Group provides after-school programs such as tutoring to help kids excel in school. Proximity to six local schools, dining and shopping reduces the need for drive time. Nearby bus lines and a car share make this a walkable community in Los Angeles County.

Residents were temporarily relocated during the renovation. La Puente Park is an example of Jamboree’s commitment to its affordable housing communities.
