Resident Services Group

Jamboree’s Resident Services Group is about “people” – connecting, developing and empowering the residents who call a Jamboree community home.

Realizing the vital link between housing and resident services, Housing with HEART was created in 2001 as Jamboree’s in-house provider of resident services.  Since that time, Jamboree’s portfolio of housing communities has grown to include residents with special needs, seniors who were “aging in place,” adults recovering from mental illness, and families who had experienced homelessness.  To best meet the needs of these community members, in September 2010 Jamboree formed an affiliation with HOMES, Inc., a community-based organization that has successfully provided housing and services for special needs populations for more than 25 years.

With the combined expertise of Housing with HEART and HOMES, Inc., Jamboree’s Resident Services Group now provides supportive services at over 27 multi-family housing sites  and six shared living homes in communities located throughout California.  The Housing with HEART programs continue to strengthen families and communities by focusing on the health and academic achievement of youth while the HOMES, Inc. housing and programs provide an enhanced level of services to residents with special needs, including adults with severe and persistent mental illness, emancipated foster youth and the previously homeless.

The success of our service programming has been made possible through the generous support of many Jamboree municipal, development and financial partners. Because these services are provided at no cost to residents, Jamboree depends on this support as it continues to develop funding – as well as garner in-kind contributions of equipment and supplies – from corporations, foundations and community leaders. Opportunities to strengthen these neighborhoods as a volunteer tutor or program aide are available here.
