Housing With HEART Realizing the vital link between housing and resident services, Housing with HEART was created in 2001 as Jamboree’s in-house resident services division. The goal of Housing with HEART is to create living environments that foster learning, healthy living, and resident involvement and empowerment. We serve families with children, senior citizens and persons with special needs at 31 properties and communities located throughout California. Services at each site are tailored to meet the specific needs of each community.
The success of our service programming has been made possible through the generous support of many Jamboree municipal, development and financial partners. Because these services are provided at no cost to residents, Housing with HEART depends on this support as it continues to develop funding – as well as garner in-kind contributions of equipment and supplies – from corporations, foundations and community leaders. Housing with HEART is about “people” – connecting, developing and empowering residents who make up vibrant neighborhoods throughout California. Opportunities to strengthen these neighborhoods as a volunteer tutor or program aide are available by contacting the Housing with HEART corporate office. Through all efforts, Housing with HEART improves the lives of families, benefitting both young and old, putting the “HEART” in homes and communities. Creating Opportunity: Enriching Community
