UNDER CONSTRUCTION - Scheduled completion Summer, 2013
As Jamboree's first development in partnership with the City of Buena Park, Park Landing is a four-story apartment complex that incorporates contemporary urban design. The property will consist of six one-bedroom, 41 two-bedroom, and 23 three-bedroom floor plans. Park Landing is based on the unique New BlockTM concept, a proprietary architectural concept for two- to four-acre urban sites, developed by NewmanGarrison + Partners, that features a green roof situated above the parking area. Utilizing the LiveRoof® system, this unique green rooftop amenity will provide more than 20,000 square feet of outdoor recreational space. A mixture of native drought-tolerant plants, succulents, and tall grasses will uniquely create active and passive outdoor sapces. This park-like setting will include a tot lot, fireplace, barbecue areas, and walking trail. This is the first green roof proposed as part of a residential property in Orange County or the Inland Empire.
Smart and sustainable throughout, amenities include a community center - designed for resident services provided by Jamboree's Resident Services Group - with a computer-learning lab, multipurpose space, youth activity center, exercise room, and laundry facilities. Each home will be equipped with ENERGY STAR appliances, tankless water heaters, low-flow restrictors and other green features designed to reduce utility costs for residents.
In Jamboree's ongoing commitment to sustainability, the property is designed to achieve a LEED (Leadership in in Energy & Environmental Design) for Homes Silver rating. The LEED Green Building Rating System is the nationally accepted benchmark for the design, construction, and operation of high-performance green buildings. LEED promotes a whole-building approach to sustainability by recognizing performance in five key areas of human and environmental health: sustainable site development, water savings, energy efficiency, materials selection and indoor environmental quality.
