This 360-space, five-star mobile home park covering 40 acres was acquired by The Meadows in Irvine, a 501(c)3 public benefit corporation in 1998 with $28.5 million in bonds issued by the City of Irvine, the property has since been refinanced with a conventional loan. This senior community is designed for residents who are 55 years or better and 75% of the park is affordable to households that are low or very low income and earn less than 80% of the area median income. Jamboree works with the residents to assure that rents are stabilized and that residents have input on management decisions affecting this senior community. Onsite resident services are provided by Jamboree's Housing with HEART. There are a variety of hobby and activity clubs that residents have formed that meet routinely throughout the year for parties, events, meetings and dinners.

Community amenities include a large central clubhouse that houses management offices, a library, indoor spa, coffee room, meeting and card rooms, billiard and table tennis room, a gym, craft room, model airplane room, indoor shuffleboard court, and stage for community productions. Outdoors, the community offers two RV storage yards, a car wash, laundry facilities, bowling green, and putting green. A large heated pool is open every day of the year and is surrounded by a patio area with designated barbecue and picnic areas. Located on Jeffrey Road between the 5 and 405 freeways in Irvine, The Meadows is close to shopping, public transportation and community services.

Major renovations to the Meadows common areas will begin in 2013 and should be completed in 2014. During the course of this construction the central facilities as described above, including the clubhouse, pool and patio areas and all greens will be closed to use by the residents.
