Laurel Crest offers 36 two- and 36 three-bedroom apartment homes. All units include ENERGY STAR appliances, wiring for high-speed Internet access, window and floor coverings, and an exterior balcony or patio. Laurel Crest exceeds Title 24 energy efficiency standards by approximately 20%.

This community features a campus of two- and three-story craftsman-inspired buildings, a community center, swimming pool, and tot lot with a meandering paseo that traverses the courtyard interior. Amenities include a community center that houses the management office, computer learning center, kitchen, small library, and large activity rooms for resident use and Jamboree's Housing with HEART resident services. On-grade parking with carports and laundry facilities dispersed throughout the site complete the project. This transit-oriented property is within walking distance to a Metrolink light rail station.

At its completion in 2007, the green building of this transit-oriented community incorporated more green elements than any of Jamboree's previous buildings. Jamboree conducted a design charrette with environmental consultants and design engineers to incorporate green site and design changes that a) would meet or exceed Tax Credit Allocation Committee (TCAC) criteria, b) were cost-neutral or c) could be provided at a minimal increase in cost.
