Lake Merritt
A joint effort by Jamboree and Preservation Partners Development, Lake Merritt provides affordable housing for senior adults ages 62 and older. The 55-unit complex offers one-bedroom apartments in a garden-style setting.
The units had been at risk of losing local restrictions necessary to keep them affordable. With only three years remaining on these restrictions, Jamboree's acquisition of the property in 2003 ensured its ongoing affordability for residents and the community. Onsite resident services are provided by Jamboree's Housing with HEART.
