Known as the "Center of the Southland," Buena Park is a City with a distinct heritage undergoing an exciting revitalization in business, residential, and commercial projects. The city is known internationally largely because of Knott's Berry Farm, but Buena Park offers more than that.  Jamboree recently became partners with Buena Park on revitalizing an abandoned lot on La Palma Avenue which will become Park Landing, an affordable housing community to 70 residents.

“This project is a great example of an effective public/private partnership,” says Rick Warsinski, Buena Park City Manager. “It will result in the elimination of a blighted site and the creation of high quality affordable homes for Buena Park families.”

“A large scale development such as Park Landing would not exist without the long-term, committed support of the Buena Park City Council and the former Redevelopment Agency. It represents the current best practices in our industry, and will also provide a substantial and sustainable boost to the local economy.” Laura Archuleta, Jamboree President.

Buena Park Mayor Jim Dow agrees. “This project will create hundreds of construction jobs at a time when we need them more than ever,” he says.

We are excited about this new partnership and we look forward to the completion of Park Landing in July 2013!
